The Gospel of the Kingdom
Welcome to gospel-kingdom.com, the new home of the former kingdom-gospel.com website. You can view the old website through the Internet Archive. However, this site has the content of the old one, but updated with corrections and additions. If you find any errors, feel free to contact me via the link at the bottom of the page.
Links within a page's text will be purple in color and if the link goes to another page on this site it will be in bold text. If the link goes to someone else's site it will not be bold, but still will be purple, unless you have changed your browser's setting from default colors.
The articles on this website are linked and titled on the left side bar. They are provided in order of understanding (except for the last few). For example one may not understand link 5 if they haven't read link 4 and so on.
I know in today's society we tend to want the biggest and greatest right away, but...
Rom:12:3: ... every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith
But if you do so here, you may not understand or may misunderstand the teachings, and may become upset or even bored. I emplore you to be honest with where you are and start there. And it doesn't hurt to start more on the top/beginning than you believe.
9: Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk...
10: For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little
I also understand in today's instant messaging and microwave world, folks want quick easy answers. Your not going to find that here. While I try to break things down into understandable ideas, most pages are not short. I also like to qualify my points/teachings with scripture, and sometimes more than 1, because truth isn't about opinion, not even mine, it's about what the Bible says. So most pages have scriptures, and the more ideas that are shared, the more scriptures are shared. Thus making most pages longer than what is used to. Also many (but not all) of my pages will have a Bible search tool on the bottom of the page, which you can use for free and it will open a new browser page.
The Bible says there 3 different kinds of Christians, read this in 1 Corinthians 3: (NKJV)
1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal?
We can see that there are spiritual Christians, carnal Christians, and baby Christians. In the gospels, Jesus separated his followers into their various levels of walk. He had the 1 (John, whom Jesus loved - not Peter), the 3 (Peter, James, and John), the 12 (disciples/apostles), the 70 (Luke 10:1-20), and the 5000 (the fishes & loaves Math 14:13-21).
God does indeed judge the sheep amongst the sheep: Ezekiel 34: MKJV
17 And you, My flock, says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I judge between lamb and lamb, between rams and he-goats.
Why do I go on about this? Because I teach meat. I am not here to judge you, but I care about you. And if someone is unprepared, the truth can hurt, but it's not too late, you can become a better Christian for God. The Bible says that some teaching is milk and other teaching is meat. The main focus of this website is the Gospel of the Kingdom, which is a heavy Biblical truth that most have not heard. This is not the gospel of salvation. Gospel means good news, there are many pieces of good news in the Bible, and salvation is only one of many. Do you give your car keys to an infant and let him drive? Of course not, therefore I must separate the teachings so no damage will be done. They are placed in spiritual difficulty. The 1st being the easiest to understand. The last several links are an exception, as they are mostly reference pages.
