Walking in the Spirit

I have been so surprised by the amount of christians who do not know about walking in the Spirit. Perhaps I should have realized this with the revelation that half the church will not get raptured, as I discuss here:

Are You Prepared for the 2nd Coming?

Walking in the Spirit is a direct result of being Born Again. And thus many who are saved are not yet even Born Again. I know, because I was saved for several years before being Born Again.  I discuss such differences here:

Believing vs. Being Born Again

Before reading this page here, I suggest you get a basic understanding of how the soul is saved, separately from the spirit. I discuss this here:

The Salvation of the Soul

Walking in the Spirit is a balance of work and rest. We must rest in Christ and let His finished work transform us. We work, by submitting to God's Word in our lives and letting the Holy Spirit guide us.

Heb:4:1: Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
11: Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Heb:4:10: For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

The only work we do, is to labour into His rest. This is an act of submission. While our spirit is saved instantaneously, our soul is saved progressively. It is a work. But the work is trusting in God to do it, for the soul is saved in this manner:

James 1:21 MKJV
Therefore putting aside all filthiness and overflowing of evil, receive in meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls.

The Word of God changes the soul. It renews it, cleans it. All we must do is what James 1:21 says; receive it with meekness. The Word will do its work in us.

Isa:55:11: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

The Word of God has power:

Heb:4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Word will manifest the difference between our soul (which may not be saved in a particular area) from the spirit which is saved, in so doing, allow us to submit to God's direction. Thus when we then walk in the direction, because God made it aware to us, it is the spirit walking in the truth of God's word in us.

Ps:119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Thus we are a temple for God, and Jesus walks in us, through us.

Gal:2:20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

It is the 2nd work of the Tabernacle that accomplishes this in us (as seen in the page:  Believing vs. Being Born Again ).

Rom:6:4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

We are dead, it is the newness of Christ we should walk in.

Rom:8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Why is there no condemnation when walking in the SPIRIT?

Ezek 36:
27: And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Thus:

Rom:8:4: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 Cor:5:7: ...For we walk by faith, not by sight...

Faith tells me, I am dead on the cross, and Jesus now lives in me, and I am seated in heavenly places.

Eph:
1:3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
2:6: And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus

1 Cor:3:16: Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

God walks in us, we must labour to enter into that rest. Are you laboring into it? Or fighting against it?

Gal:5:25: If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit

Col:2:6: As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him

1Jn:2:6: He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

If you have no idea what I am speaking about, it may be you have yet to cross Jordan, and are not living in faith, but are living by religion. I highly suggest this page:

Believing vs. Being Born Again

I have another page that discusses this kind of christian, of which will not be raptured:

The 2 & a Half Tribes that didn't Cross Over

I have 4 videos I created, shown here, that will help with the subject matter of this page:
